Using all the bits and pieces I had left after class
A simple page using Michelle's printable
Used my clusters from the Artisan pass class
I tried to watch Monique's Book Pages but I am getting sleepy. So many great ideas and things to make. Glad I have the pass so I can gather my materials, go back, and make these wonderful project. Monique's Book Pages had so many ideas my head is spinning. Over the past two days I have learned so many ideas for pockets, pages, binding, and inspirational things to create. And, since I have the pass, there is more. Thank you for this great event. I am trying to keep up. I envy those who have been able to create things.
I finished! Yay! Ok it’s not finished because I have not personalized it yet. But the base is done. Michelle you are amazing! Love it!
I am in love! Thank you for sharing! I think I definitely need to do the animal version now too!
Stacked Envelpe pockets from Kristi's class. I'm going to use the rest of the papers from the collection to make the inside of the journal. Flip-through on my YouTube channel 5-9-25 Premiere 11:00 a.m. CST... KellysCreativeDreams
completed journal from Einat's workshop.
Only thing I added was the lace/ ribbon and some $Tree rub-ons. Flipthrough on my Youtube channel 5-9-25 Premiere at 11:30 a.m. CST KellysCreativeDreams
My folio from the kick off call
Love it!!
The coolest thing I learned came from Einat. She wasn't one of my tops initially, but became one of my favorites. I learned that you don't have to leave the stitch strings. You can cover them! I've never heard of that before. I love those aha moments!
My apologies for the pic overload.
Michelle you are so amazing at this! you got more done than me! I am working on yours, the funny thing is I printed out the extras but had to get the rest in the class, so I am sooo behind, but what I have got so far, I love it, how do you come up with this?
What a lovely way to start my day. Layering is something I try to do in my art journal so this was so much fun! I often forget how to do the steps. Can't wait for your clusters workshop tomorrow!
Finished my junk journal inspired by Einat.
As I live in Australia I watch most of the replays and the YouTube video is missing the measurements for the pieces of the folder to make the pockets. I also think she has put an extra pages in the measurements at the end as I cannot see it in the video unless that has been cut out also- pages 2b? Is it meant to be 2x pages 2a for pockets???
It is so annoying when living in the southern hemisphere and not being able to catch the lives.
It's tricky when working with A4 paper too.
I found it while making it the missing part is at the very end after Monique and Kristi say goodbye, 2a & 2b are on the same pieces of paper. For others getting confused.
I had so much fun attempting my first journal. I wasn't sure what I was doing, but I liked how it turned out and I got to use one of MANY, MANY things in my stash. I still want to put in some finishing touches.
Hi everyone!
This is my second year in the retreat. I've been junk journaling for about ten years. When I was 10 my (step) mom taught me how to make bowls from Christmas cards. Yep. As well as Blessing Balls and little notebooks - all from Christmas cards.
I'll have pictures to share soon. I've almost completed my journal from Einat. the envelope journal cover with Kristi is next on my list.
Great seeing friends & new faces.
Creative Blessings!
My equanimity project. Totally new to this and never heard of it, so reading about it and following along with Pam was very inspirational.
I agree! I am glad I have the Artisan Pass so I can go back and listen to this over and over again again throughout the year.
Wonderful place to start. Thanks Pam. :)
Needs some work and decorating. Hopefully, the next one will turn out better.
This looks great! Don't worry about how it looks now -- just decorate it, cover up imperfections, and call it good! Don't forget to post your progress so we can all oooh and ahh!
I learned that actually waiting to see what Kristi was going to would be helpful. tehe. I glued the front cover on before attaching the envelopes. oh well no biggy, I am really happy with how they turned out and I know I will be making many more. So thank you Kristi! this was a super Duper Great one!
I wasn't able to attend last night's welcome. Is there someway to get the folio's instructions? Thank you am enjoying the retreat today!
Hi Deb! Here ya go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2XLoWr5wbU&ab_channel=JunkJournalRetreat
I finished my flip flip folder. I added a pocket on the inside of the left side and a hike strip for the paper so I can refill if needed.
Love your choice of papers. I have to decorate mine. I am going to make another one. The first one is like the first pancake you make. Comes out a little wonky and the next are better.
Is there a place where I can find last night's video. I would like to make the project.
In case you didn't see it, here's the link for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2XLoWr5wbU
The start of my Retreat folio. Now to decide what patterned paper to use........that is where I struggle.
Kimberly, this is so courageous of you! Thank you for sharing your heart (and heart art!) with us.
💗💗💗
Don't know how to update my previous post...but made some updates after watching the video to the end...got a little carried away and have some goofs...
My sugar skull.
Pumpkins...first time to emboss something. Bought it 1 or2 years ago and never used it. My gold splatter is a bit too big but oh well
Rolling right through some of these today. Bottom right corner is the back.
Thanks Amy and Shannon
I wanted to share this. Just getting started. It's the kind of doodles that calm my anxiety. Thanks Consi. Always love your projects.
I finally finished Kerem Tamir's lesson.

In stead of the sugar skulls, I made Art Nouveau tags. Will colour and embellished as I use it.
I shared the retreat on Facebook!! I have some crafting friends and I already shared by word of mouth. I know one of them is going to be tuning in!! Ready for some FUN!!!
Great additions!
